The John Doe Bodybuilding Podcast

The JDB podcast archive was taken down on August 25, 2025 and no new episodes are being produced.

The podcast never had any sponsors or ads and although JD enjoyed doing it hosting fees where coming entirely out of pocket so he chose not to renew when we shuttered the JDB website.

I personally did not mind seeing it go as I worked on commission for JDB and having to do work on something that generated zero income and did not drive traffic to the site just took up my personal time and put nothing into my pocket. As far as I could see it was often done instead of writing which could have been driving traffic and earning so it was a bit of a sore subject for me.

That being said, some people having expressed that they wish it was still around. I've floated the idea of fundraising the annual fee just to keep the archive available and if JD chose to make more episodes that would be on him but it's not a priority for me and is not something I can dedicate time to at the moment but if enough people say they'd chip in I might be open to setting something up and let people put their money where their mouth is.
